DRC

Canada This is Your Conscience

Because your Canadian corporations were accused of wrongdoing in the eastern DRC; because your Canadian government prioritized corporate lobbying over Congolese women's lives and ignored UN requests to send Canadian peacekeepers to the DRC; because millions of us own cellphones that contain Coltan, a mineral that fuels conflict in the eastern DRC;
  we must join with the international community and grassroots organizations, in a co-ordinated manner, to answer the calls for support and solidarity from survivors of rape in the eastern DRC.
 and because the eastern DRC is the worst place in the world to be a woman;

Canada, this is your conscience, NO MORE RAPE.
